OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide the highest quality early childhood education for all children — gifted, traditional, and developmentally delayed — in an inclusive setting, where individualized learning techniques enable every child to achieve their maximum potential.

WADDLERS

Our Waddlers, typically ages 12-24 months, are the youngest children on campus. This is often the first school experience for our students, and Rise provides a safe and nurturing environment for their introduction to the school family. The year is geared heavily towards establishing connections with teachers and friends and building confidence through play and growth opportunities.

TODDLERS

The Toddlers, typically ages 2-3, are all about the transition from baby to child. With the support of their teachers and experts in each domain of development, they begin new routines to establish independence, are introduced to new language and communication skills, develop friendships, and learn to navigate and regulate big toddler emotions while building empathy for others.

PRESCHOOL

Preschoolers, typically ages 3-4, develop their newfound independence and skills even further. They work on pre-handwriting skills, problem solving with peers, managing social-emotional growth, and practicing their ability to understand and communicate their needs. They cultivate both independence and interdependence with increased opportunities for teamwork and play with their peers.

PRE-K

For our Pre-K students, typically ages 4-5, the final year at Rise is a sweet balance of furthering their skills, strengthening their connections, and looking ahead to kindergarten! Units of study are often child-driven and project-oriented. Teachers and therapists ensure that students and their families have the tools and supports they need for their next learning environment.

Rise Parent

I worked at Rise for 7 years and always knew I wanted my children to attend this school, no matter their abilities. I have witnessed the benefits of the program for both children with special needs and typically developing children, and I couldn’t wait to have my children be a part of Rise. They are receiving the highest quality education from the Masters level teachers and therapists. I know they are always in great hands and getting love and attention, and most importantly, learning from their peers.

Rise Parent

Rise Austin is the best possible preschool for any child. In every way — big and small — this program has had such a wonderful impact on our son’s life. Rise is not a holding room filled with toys and occasional outside play time, it is a place for exceptional growth. Beyond the love and care Michael received from every single staff member at Rise, my husband and I are amazed by the quality of education he received — every step of every day was built around learning.
