Our Waddlers are the youngest children on campus. This is often the first school experience for our students, and Rise provides a safe and nurturing environment for their introduction to the school family. The year is geared heavily towards establishing connections with teachers and friends and building confidence through play and growth opportunities.

The Toddlers, are all about the transition from baby to child. With the support of their teachers and experts in each domain of development, they begin new routines to establish independence, are introduced to new language and communication skills, develop friendships, and learn to navigate and regulate big toddler emotions while building empathy for others.

Preschool Bridge is considered the oldest “Toddler” class and is a transitional classroom designed for children who are ready for more than a toddler classroom but would benefit from extra time before fully entering preschool.

Preschoolers develop their newfound independence and skills even further. They work on pre-handwriting skills, problem-solving with peers, managing social-emotional growth, and practicing their ability to understand and communicate their needs. They cultivate both independence and interdependence with increased opportunities for teamwork and play with their peers.

Pre-K Bridge is considered the oldest “Preschool” class and is a new transitional classroom designed for students who are ready for more structure and academic engagement but would benefit from one more year before entering Pre-K and graduating from Rise.
