Welcome to Rise! We are so happy you have chosen to learn more about how our inclusive and enriched program can give your child the best possible start in life. If you have any questions about our admissions process, please contact us.

A Little About Our Program:

  • Rise serves children 12 months – Pre-K.
  • We operate on an 11- month schedule August – June (see calendar for more details).
  • The school day is from 8 am – 2:30 pm.
  • Aftercare (REP) runs from 2:30 – 5:30 pm – limited spots are available. 
  • Each class has 12 students, a lead teacher, a teacher, and a teacher aide.
  • 50% of our students have developmental delays or a disability, 50% are typical learners, 100% learn together!
  • All students receive music therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy using a push-in model.
  • Admission decisions are typically made in the spring for the next school year.

Complete an Interest Form

We recommend reviewing our website and the video above to learn about our program. If you are interested in enrolling your child in The Rise School of Austin for the 2022-2023 school year (or later), please complete an interest form and provide us with a little bit of information about you and your child. Once you have submitted the interest form, a member from the enrollment team will reach out with available open house dates and instructions to sign up to attend.

Visit Our School

Attend an open house* or schedule a tour to discover what makes Rise shine! Please be sure to complete the interest form before attending an open house or taking a tour. 

*Our open houses will resume in October 2021 virtually.

Playdate at Rise

Once you have completed the interest form and visited our school, we may schedule a playdate for your child in a prospective classroom.

Subject to change due to COVID-19 precautions.

Admissions Decision

The enrollment committee will review your application and determine admission based on available space, classroom ratios (traditional learner vs child with developmental delays), and our ability to serve your child’s needs.

Our enrollment process aims to provide an equitable and individualized experience for all children and their families.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Enrollment

Upon acceptance, you will receive an offer letter and enrollment packet. To reserve your space, a registration fee and contract must be submitted. You will be given a deadline to submit your completed enrollment packet which will serve as your child’s individual file. The file will contain pertinent information required by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (licensing). 

Important Notice

If the desired classroom is at capacity or the admissions committee has determined that Rise is unable to serve your child’s needs, families can reapply the following year for the upcoming school year.

Admissions decisions are typically made in the spring after re-enrollment packets of current families have been submitted.
