COVID-19 Rise Response
The Rise School of Austin – Update Regarding Returning to Campus
Dear Rise Families,
I hope this message finds you healthy and safe and enjoying summer break with your little ones (and staying cool). We miss our school family dearly and hope that you have found opportunities to connect with your Rise family via Google Classroom. If you have not done so already, please submit your enrollment paperwork to Lou Thompson and complete your child’s Brightwheel profile. Both must be complete before the start of the school year. We look forward to serving you and your family!
I am emailing you to inform you that The Rise School of Austin fully intends to OPEN and provide direct care services beginning on Wednesday, August 19th. In order to provide a safe learning environment for our students to learn, we must all – staff and families – commit to doing our part to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. Please see attached for The Rise School of Austin’s COVID-19 Community Commitments. Please sign this form on or before Monday, August 10th and submit HERE. Parents, if you have more than one child enrolled, please place a copy of your agreement in each of your children’s classroom folders.
For more information about RSA’s response to COVID-19 please review the PLAN attached or visit our website(password: risecovid). Don’t forget! You have access to the school calendar, class lists, and other important information about your child’s upcoming school year on the 2020 – 2021 Parent Resource Drive.
Please review the parent handbooks prior to the start of school. Signed receipts of these documents will be requested by administration in August.
